Congratulations to Matthew Nelder, Stephanie Nishi, and Zhila Semnami-Azad (left to right), who are the winners of the Obesity Canada Student Travel Award to attend Obesity Week in Nashville, Tennessee.

Obesity Week is an interdisciplinary international event which focuses on the science, clinical application, surgical intervention and prevention of obesity.  It combines both the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and The Obesity Society (TOS) annual meetings, bringing together world-renowned experts in obesity.  The focus of the conference this year will be the heart, the cardiac component of obesity.
