I’m pleased to announce that Dawn Hatanaka (above, left) has been appointed Executive Director of Obesity Canada.
Dawn has been with the OC team since our launch more than 14 years ago, leading our events and educational programs as well as our recent clinical practice guidelines update process.
Dawn replaces Dr. Ximena Ramos Salas, who has served as our ED since 2008. Ximena is pursuing new adventures as an obesity consultant based in Europe, but we are thrilled that she will continue to work with OC as our Director of Research and Policy.
