Infographic Competition Results

Today’s post comes from Laura Vergeer. Laura is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Toronto. She is also Chair of the OC-SNP National Executive.

This past fall, the OC-SNP National Executive held our annual Infographic Competition, where students and new professionals (SNPs) across Canada were invited to submit creative and informative infographics to be voted on by our social media followers. Well, the results are in and we are pleased to announce our first and second place winners!

Congratulations to Mélissa Bélanger from Laval University and Alyssa Ramuscak from Ryerson University, who were awarded first and second place, respectively. Both will receive free registration to the Canadian Obesity Student Meeting taking place in Toronto, ON from June 17-19, 2020. You can check out the winning infographics below. The OC-SNP National Executive would like to thank those who submitted an infographic, as well as everyone who took the time to vote on the submissions.
