Something that is not to be missed coming up at the Obesity Summit is the Leadership Workshop facilitated by the Obesity Canada Student and New Professionals (OC-SNPs) National Executive. This event is a great opportunity to speak one-on-one with up and coming professionals in the field of obesity and get introduced to established professions in the field.

In the past, this event has also been a great opportunity for students to collaborate with other SNPs, and brain storm ideas for obesity related events for local OC-SNP chapters, and as well as make connections to help them in their future career endeavours. Just like in previous years, come join the OC-SNPs executive in a round speed networking with students, recent graduates, academics, clinicians, and a plethora of other obesity professions. In addition, we are fortunate enough to have a special guest joining us, Dr. Kelly Isfan, who is the current Chair of the Board for Obesity Canada.

So, remember to mark your calendars for the Leadership Workshop at the Canadian Obesity Summit on Thursday April 25th from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. This will be a great opportunity to connect with others interested in the field of obesity, and you will be able to keep the party going at the OC-SNP social that will be taking place at the Museum of Nature with dinner at the Lieutenants Pub that evening.
