Obesity Canada Students and New Professionals (OC-SNP) 2018-2019 National Executive is looking forward to the upcoming year. We hope to continue implementing some of OC-SNP’s previously successful initiatives including the Infographic Competition, Pedometer Challenge and Research Blitz. Building on the momentum from last year’s executive, we plan to continue the Women in Science initiative but with a focus on Diversity in Science. As Obesity Canada includes researchers, students, clinicians, allied health care providers and community members from across the country, this year, we aim to highlight the diversity in our group and celebrate the differences that unite us in our mission to support Obesity Canada. As students, we are thankful to learn from and contribute to the work being done by Obesity Canada.
