We have our first Calgary fundraising and public outreach event!

ShoeCamp’s are a fun, safe and inclusive workout designed to promote physical activity and movement.

Geoff Starling has been co-hosting ShoeCamp’s in Calgary for the past two summers alongside Paul McIntyre Royston of The FAT Project. This year Geoff is carrying the torch while Paul is off representing our nation through his work with the Canadian Olympic Foundation.

The camps have always been free but carry a lot of untapped potential for fundraising. This year ShoeCamp has teamed up with Obesity Canada – Calgary to raise funds for obesity research and awareness. We are also collecting non-perishable items for the Calgary Food Bank.

ShoeCamp’s philosophy is that movement is an amazing thing and we want to have fun with absolutely everybody of every size, shape and ability who wants to participate. A perfect fit for OC’s values.
