Obesity Canada is committed to building organizational well-being and sustainability as part of our Strategic Plan. A central component of this work is to ensure that Obesity Canada’s governance includes an array of voices, a diversity of perspectives, and strong engaged leaders. Supporting the excellent work Obesity Canada is already doing to provide guidelines for healthcare professionals, offer educational programs, promote public awareness, and advocate for evidence-based policies. By combining research, education, and advocacy, Obesity Canada strives to improve the understanding and management of obesity while supporting individuals affected by this disease.
We look forward to the work ahead, and are grateful to have the support of these passionate and engaged individuals as we move forward!
Sincerely,
Dawn Hatanaka, Executive Director
